You can delete your QuizlyGo account at any time directly from the app. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data after deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the QuizlyGo app on your device
- Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account will be permanently deleted and you will be signed out immediately.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data becomes permanently inaccessible:
- Profile information — your display name, email, and avatar
- Quizzes — all quizzes you created (personal and group)
- Quiz sessions — your play history and scores
- Group participation — your membership and leaderboard entries
- Push notification tokens — removed from our servers
What Data Is Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period for the following purposes:
- Subscription records — retained for billing reconciliation with Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as required by payment processing obligations
- Anonymized usage data — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for analytics purposes. This data cannot be linked back to your account.
Active Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
Can't Access the App?
If you are unable to access the app to delete your account, you can request account deletion by sending an email to quizlygo@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
